    RESTAURANT WEEK IN GETTYSBURG

Gettysburg, PA – April 10, 2012 From April 13-21st, fifteen Gettysburg area restaurants will be collaborating for the second annual Gettysburg Restaurant Week. This nine day showcase will offer locals and visitors the chance to try various Gettysburg restaurants at a discount. Each establishment will offer two course lunches for $5, 10, or 15 and three course dinners for $10, 20, or 30.

“Gettysburg has more to offer than history,” says Restaurant Week founder Matt McCrensky. Focusing on the diverse culinary skills of local chefs, Gettysburg Restaurant Week is another great example of what America’s most famous small town has to offer. Restaurant Week invites people to come for lunch and dinner, stay overnight at one of Gettysburg’s many bed and breakfasts or hotels, and enjoy a side of Gettysburg you may have never noticed before.

While in Gettysburg, guests are invited to pick up a Restaurant Week “rack card” at one of the participating restaurants or sponsor establishments to enter a contest that includes overnight stays at the Country Inn and Suites, lunch for an entire year from Tipton’s Grill, and a ten person tasting and tour at Adams County Winery, along with other prizes from local restaurants.

Participating restaurants include: 1863 Restaurant, Blue & Gray Bar and Grille, Blue Parrot Bistro, Café Saint-Amand, Centuries on the Square, Dobbin House Tavern, Great American Grill (Hilton), Herr Tavern, J’s at the Village, McClellan’s Tavern, Mom’s Coffeepot, Sharpshooters, The Pike Restaurant, Tipton’s Grill and The Ugly Mug Cafe.

Gettysburg Restaurant Week is sponsored by Country Inn & Suites at the Gettysburg Outlets, the Historic Gettysburg Hotel, Est. 1797 and 3rd Idea Digital Marketing & Advertising. Media sponsors are: Susquehanna Style Magazine and Great Country 107.7. The official winery of Gettysburg Restaurant Week is Adams County Winery.
